Welcome to Miss Freckles Design (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and digital sewing patterns (“Services”). By purchasing from our store or accessing our content, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. General Information

We are located in Malaysia, and we sell digital sewing patterns to customers worldwide. These Terms apply to all users of the site, regardless of location.

Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our digital products.

2. Digital Products

2.1 Nature of Products

All products sold in our shop are digital downloadable items.
No physical items will be shipped.

2.2 Download Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive immediate access to download your files via email or from your order confirmation page. Please ensure you enter a valid email address.

2.3 File Storage

We recommend backing up your purchased files. While we will do our best to assist with lost files, we cannot guarantee indefinite access.

 

3. License & Usage Rights

When you purchase a digital sewing pattern, you are purchasing a personal-use license, not ownership of the file.

You MAY:

  • Use the pattern for personal sewing projects.

  • Sell finished, handmade items created using our patterns in small quantities (home-based business / small batch only).
    Credit is appreciated but not required.

  • Use the pattern for workshop teaching, provided that each participant purchases their own copy of the pattern.

  • Use the pattern for charity purposes, but please email us for permission first. We usually allow it.

You MAY NOT:

  • Share, redistribute, or resell the digital pattern files.

  • Copy, modify, or alter the pattern for resale or distribution.

  • Use the pattern for mass production, factory production, or outsourced production.

  • Claim the pattern or design as your own.

Any unauthorised distribution or commercial use violates copyright law.

 

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Digital Product Refunds

Due to the nature of digital downloads, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges once the files have been downloaded.

4.2 Exceptions

We may offer support or replacement files in the case of:

  • Corrupted or defective files

  • Download issues

  • Technical errors on our end

5. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). Prices may appear in approximate local currencies for convenience.

Payment Method

We accept payments only through PayPal.
You can pay using:

  • Your PayPal account, or

  • A credit/debit card processed through PayPal’s secure checkout (no PayPal account required in many regions)

We do not store or have access to your payment information.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time.

 

6. International Users

We welcome customers from all over the world.
It is your responsibility to ensure the legality of digital downloads in your country or region.

By purchasing, you confirm that:

  • You are of legal age in your location.

  • You understand that digital goods are non-refundable.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All patterns, illustrations, instructions, photos, and digital files in our shop are protected by copyright.

You may not:

  • Reproduce

  • Modify

  • Upload

  • Share

  • Distribute

  • Resell

any part of the digital products.

Unauthorised use may result in legal action.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Sewing outcomes, fabric choices, or differences in results.

  • Errors arising from misinterpretation of instructions.

  • Technical issues on your device or internet connection.

  • Any loss beyond the purchase price of the digital product.

 

9. Changes to Terms

We may update our Terms from time to time.
Updates take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our Services means you accept the updated Terms.
